Bakkers Trakkers, a Dutch band formed in 1969, will perform at Altes AKH in Vienna, Austria on June 12, 2026. The group is known for its distinctive blend of psychedelic rock, garage rock, and Nederbeat – a uniquely Dutch form of beat music influenced by British Invasion bands but incorporating local musical elements. Throughout their career, Bakkers Trakkers have cultivated a reputation for energetic live performances and a raw, often experimental sound. They initially achieved significant popularity in the Netherlands during the early 1970s and have continued to perform and record intermittently since their reformation.

Altes AKH (Old General Hospital) is a historical building complex in Vienna’s ninth district. Originally constructed between 1905 and 1914 according to plans by Robert Gerhardt, it served as a major hospital until 2012. The complex is notable for its extensive architectural design featuring Art Nouveau elements and its sheer scale – comprising multiple buildings arranged around large courtyards.
