Performances frequently feature extended instrumental passages and atmospheric soundscapes evoking the imagery associated with the mythological figure of Baba Yaga – a complex character representing both danger and wisdom in Slavic folklore.

The Robert-Schumann-Konservatorium Zwickau holds a significant place in German musical history. Founded in 1838 as the first public music school in Saxony, it was directly influenced by Robert Schumann himself, who served as its director for a period. The institution’s original purpose was to train church musicians and teachers; however, it has since evolved into a comprehensive university for music offering diverse programs encompassing performance, composition, music education and musicology.
