Avangelia, a Greek neoclassical darkwave artist, will perform at the Archival Center in Los Angeles on June 4, 2026. Her music blends elements of ethereal wave, gothic rock, and classical instrumentation, often featuring dramatic vocals and atmospheric soundscapes. Avangelia’s work frequently explores themes of mythology, history, and the human condition, presented through a distinctly cinematic aesthetic. She began releasing music independently in the early 2010s and has since gained an international following within the darkwave and post-industrial music scenes.

The Archival Center is a historically significant venue located in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. Originally constructed in 1928 as the Scottish Rite Cathedral, it served as a Masonic temple for several decades. The building is notable for its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and elaborate interior detailing including stained glass windows and ornate plasterwork. In recent years, it has been repurposed as a multi-use event space hosting concerts, art installations, and private functions while maintaining much of its original architectural character. It’s become recognized for its unique acoustics and atmospheric setting attracting artists across various genres.
