Aristo Sham, a Hong Kong-born pianist and composer, will perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on October 29, 2026. Sham’s musical style is characterized by a fusion of classical piano training with influences from jazz, pop, and world music traditions, often incorporating improvisation and a narrative quality into his performances. He is known for his emotionally resonant compositions and technically virtuosic playing.

The Concertgebouw, opened in 1886, is widely considered one of the world’s most acoustically superb concert halls. Designed by Pierre Cuypers, the building’s architecture reflects Dutch Romanticism.
