Antonio Dayyani will perform at Kedelhuset in Silkeborg, Denmark on February 13, 2027. Dayyani is a Danish-Iranian composer and musician known for his distinctive blend of Persian classical music, jazz improvisation, and contemporary soundscapes. His compositions frequently feature the *setar*, a traditional Persian lute, alongside other instruments creating a fusion that explores themes of cultural identity and spiritual reflection. He often incorporates elements of Sufi poetry and philosophy into his work.

Kedelhuset, meaning “The Boiler House” in Danish, is a cultural center located in Silkeborg. Originally constructed as part of Silkeborg’s old paper mill complex dating back to 1918, it served as the power plant providing steam for the industrial processes. Following the mill’s closure in the late 20th century, the building underwent extensive renovation and was repurposed as a venue for concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances and workshops. The building retains many of its original industrial features which contribute to its unique atmosphere. It is now managed by Silkeborg Kommune (municipality) and functions as an important hub for artistic activity within the region.
