The Centre Marcel Pagnol is a renowned venue dedicated to the arts, situated in the picturesque village of La Roque-d'Anthéron in Provence. Originally a 17th-century castle – the Château de la Roque – it was acquired by Pierre Boulez and Marcel Pagnol in 1969. They envisioned it as a space for musical creation and performance. Following Pagnol’s death in 1974, the centre was officially named in his honour.
