The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont, occupies a historically significant building originally constructed in 1930 as a movie palace named the Paramount Theatre. It underwent extensive renovations and reopened in 1988 as a multi-disciplinary performing arts center. The Flynn serves as a hub for presenting touring performances across various genres—music, dance, theatre, and film—and also supports local arts organizations through rental spaces and community engagement programs.

The venue’s architecture reflects an Art Deco style typical of the era of its original construction. It features both the Kathryn W. Olin Stage (a proscenium theatre) and the smaller Jeanne Robert Atwill Theatre providing flexibility for different types of productions.
