The Met is a historic performance venue located in Pawtucket. Originally constructed in 1926 as a Vaudeville theatre – initially named the Majestic Theatre – it underwent several transformations over the decades, functioning as a cinema and eventually falling into disrepair. It was renovated and reopened in 2017 as a multi-purpose event space hosting concerts, theatrical productions, comedy shows, and other live events. The venue retains much of its original architectural detail while incorporating modern sound and lighting systems. It has a capacity of approximately 850 standing or 550 seated attendees and is part of the Pawtucket Arts & Culture Collaborative aiming to revitalize the city’s arts scene.
