Altın Gün is scheduled to perform at MeetFactory in Prague, Czechia on November 5th, 2026. The band is a Dutch-Turkish musical ensemble known for their unique interpretation of Turkish folk music from the 1970s. They blend traditional Anatolian sounds with psychedelic rock, funk, and jazz influences, creating a distinctive and energetic style often described as “Turk-Psych.” Altın Gün primarily performs songs originally recorded by artists such as Neşet Ertaş and Barış Manço, re-imagining them with modern arrangements while maintaining respect for the source material.

MeetFactory is a multi-genre cultural centre established in 2009 by the Czech artist David Černý. Located in the Smíchov district of Prague, it occupies a former industrial complex – specifically, a dilapidated brewery. The venue houses concert halls, theatres, galleries, a cinema, a café and workshops. It’s known for hosting diverse events encompassing contemporary art exhibitions, live music performances spanning various genres (including rock, electronic and world music), theatre productions and film screenings. MeetFactory aims to function as an independent platform supporting both established and emerging artists across different disciplines.
