Allison Russell will perform at the Grey Eagle Event Centre on November 6, 2026. Russell is a Canadian singer-songwriter and poet whose music blends folk, Americana, and blues influences with elements of spoken word. Her work frequently explores themes of trauma, resilience, and Black queer identity, often drawing from personal experience. She gained prominence as a founding member of the acclaimed folk duo Our Native Daughters and Birds of Chicago before releasing her solo debut album *Outside Child* in 2021, which received widespread critical acclaim and multiple Juno Award nominations.

The Grey Eagle Event Centre is located on the Tsuut’ina Nation, approximately 20 minutes southwest of Calgary, Alberta. Opened in 2019, it is owned and operated by the Tsuut’ina Nation and represents a significant economic development initiative for the community. The venue is designed to host a variety of events including concerts, trade shows, conferences and sporting competitions. It features a flexible event space capable of accommodating up to 2,500 people and aims to showcase Indigenous culture alongside mainstream entertainment offerings. The centre’s construction incorporated sustainable building practices and reflects the Nation's commitment to environmental stewardship.
