Alfa Mist will perform at the Gruuthusemuseum in Bruges, Belgium on August 13, 2026. Alfa Mist, born Alfie Andrew, is a British pianist and composer known for his blend of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music. His sound frequently incorporates elements of broken beat and neo-soul, characterized by atmospheric textures, intricate piano melodies, and often features sampled sounds. He initially gained recognition through self-released projects on SoundCloud before signing with labels such as United Artists Records.

The Gruuthusemuseum occupies the former palace of the Lords of Gruuthuse, one of Bruges’ most influential families between the 13th and 16th centuries. The building itself reflects a history spanning several centuries and architectural styles; originally constructed in the mid-15th century by Jan IVuidelle, it underwent significant renovations and expansions under successive generations of the family.

The museum showcases a diverse collection reflecting life in Bruges from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Exhibits include tapestries, furniture, silverware, porcelain and historical artifacts providing insight into the domestic life and social status of a wealthy Burgundian family.
