Experience Action live on August 20th

Action, a musical project spearheaded by Patrick Stevenson, will be performing at Buffalo RiverWorks on August 20, 2026. Action’s music is generally categorized as power pop, drawing heavily from influences of 1970s and 80s guitar-based rock and new wave. Stevenson is known for his prolific songwriting and recording process, often releasing albums with a deliberately retro aesthetic and sound quality reminiscent of cassette tapes. The project frequently features layered instrumentation and melodic vocals.

Buffalo RiverWorks is a multi-purpose entertainment venue located in the city’s industrial waterfront district. Originally constructed in 1940 as a grain elevator for the Great Lakes Transportation Company, the facility was repurposed and reopened as a concert hall and event space in 2014. The venue maintains much of its original industrial architecture, offering both indoor and outdoor performance areas. It's known for hosting a diverse range of events including concerts, festivals, sporting events (particularly roller derby), and art installations. The building's unique setting provides a distinctive atmosphere for performances and has become a significant component of Buffalo’s revitalized waterfront area.
