Acoustic Alchemy is scheduled to perform at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 9, 2026. The group is known for its distinctive blend of smooth jazz, incorporating elements of flamenco, Latin guitar, and contemporary instrumental music. Formed in the late 1980s in England, Acoustic Alchemy gained prominence for its intricate guitar work—primarily by founders Greg Carmichael and Steve Mauldin—and melodic compositions often featuring nylon-string acoustic guitars. Throughout their career, they have released numerous albums and toured internationally, establishing a dedicated following within the smooth jazz community.

The Smith Center, which opened in 2012, serves as Las Vegas’s premier performing arts center. It was developed through a public-private partnership with significant philanthropic contributions from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. The complex comprises three distinct venues: Reynolds Hall, a 2,044-seat orchestral hall; The Showroom, a more intimate 561-seat cabaret-style theater; and Myron’s Cabaret Jazz, a 250-seat jazz club.
