Experience 40 Fingers live on September 27th

40 Fingers is a live electronic music group known for its intricate and energetic performances centered around the Nintendo Game Boy. The group, formed in 1999, utilizes modified Game Boys as musical instruments, creating complex soundscapes blending chiptune, techno, and breakbeat elements. Their performances typically involve multiple members simultaneously manipulating numerous Game Boys, often incorporating visual projections alongside the audio experience. They’ve released albums on labels like Glitch Mob Records and have toured internationally, gaining a dedicated following within the demoscene and electronic music communities.

The Wilbur Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, originally opened in 1900 as the Grand Opera House. Throughout its history it has functioned as a vaudeville house, a movie palace (known as the Loews Theatre), and a performing arts center. Renovated extensively in 2014, The Wilbur maintains much of its original ornate architectural detailing including elaborate plasterwork and gilded accents. The venue currently operates primarily as a mid-sized theatre hosting Broadway tryouts, concerts, comedy shows and other live performances. It’s known for its intimate atmosphere and good acoustics, seating approximately 1200 people. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
