ZENA (born Zenobia Shehu, November 18, 1996) is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and producer rapidly gaining recognition for her genre-bending sound. Originally building a following through viral TikTok snippets showcasing her vocal range and production skills, ZENA officially launched her music career in 2020 with the EP *Bedroom Walls*. Her style blends elements of alternative R&B, pop, and electronic music, often characterized by atmospheric soundscapes and introspective lyricism.

She independently released her debut album *RISUS* in 2023 to critical acclaim, lauded for its honest exploration of vulnerability and self-discovery. *RISUS* garnered features from publications like *Nylon* and *Ones to Watch*, solidifying her position as an artist to watch. Prior to her solo work, ZENA honed her skills as a backing vocalist for artists like Justin Bieber and Doja Cat.

ZENA’s production credits also include work with other emerging artists. She is known for self-producing much of her own material, demonstrating a strong command of both vocal performance and sonic architecture.
