Zairis Téjion (born Zaira Isabel Mejía Tejón, February 26, 1993) is a Spanish singer-songwriter and producer rapidly gaining recognition for her innovative blend of flamenco, electronic music, and avant-garde pop. Initially known for her traditional flamenco training – studying *cante jondo* with renowned artists like Fernanda Romero – Téjion began deconstructing and reimagining the genre in the mid-2010s.

Her self-produced debut EP, *Puñal*, released in 2018, showcased this experimental approach, earning critical acclaim for its raw emotionality and unconventional sound design. This was followed by her critically lauded 2022 album *Memorias de un Futuro Distante*, which further solidified her unique artistic vision. The album explored themes of memory, identity, and technological alienation.

Téjion’s style is characterized by layered vocals often employing looping and processing techniques, alongside sparse yet impactful electronic beats and traditional flamenco instrumentation like palmas and cajón. She has collaborated with artists across diverse genres including Rosalía (touring as a backing vocalist) and Niño de Elche.
