Yoav (born Yoav Eshed, 1980) is an Israeli-born, London-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist recognized for his distinctive looping technique and intimate, atmospheric sound. Initially gaining prominence through self-released tracks on MySpace in the mid-2000s – notably “Beautiful Lie” which garnered millions of plays – Yoav bypassed traditional record label routes early in his career.

His music blends elements of folk, blues, and electronica, often built around layered vocals, acoustic guitar, and percussive body sounds created live through loop pedals. This unique approach is central to his captivating live performances.

Yoav has released four studio albums: *Yoav* (2006), *Chronophobia* (2009), *Where Is My Mind?* (2014 - a reinterpretation of the Pixies album), and *Commute* (2017). He’s toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, supporting artists like Damien Rice and Zero 7. His work has been featured in numerous television shows including "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI," expanding his reach beyond independent music circles.
