Rising to prominence through independent releases on SoundCloud and YouTube in the early 2010s, she initially garnered attention for her covers and original R&B-infused electronic productions. Her breakthrough single “Wait” (2014) achieved viral success, accumulating millions of views and establishing her signature sound – a blend of atmospheric electronica, trip-hop influences, and emotive vocals.
Yazmin signed with Ministry of Sound in 2015 and released her debut EP *Ethereal* the same year. She’s collaborated with artists like Mura Masa and Tourist, further solidifying her position within the UK electronic music scene. Known for her DIY approach to music creation, Yazmin often handles production, songwriting, and vocal arrangements herself.
