Valerie Fritz is a German-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for her atmospheric and emotionally resonant indie pop. Initially gaining recognition as one half of the electronic duo WET, which garnered praise for their dream-pop soundscapes and featured placements in television shows like *Euphoria*, Fritz embarked on a solo career in 2023 with the release of her debut EP, *Venus in Libra*.

Her music blends introspective lyricism with layered production, often incorporating elements of trip-hop, ambient electronica, and subtly textured instrumentation. Fritz writes, produces, and mixes much of her work herself, demonstrating a strong artistic vision. *Venus in Libra* received critical acclaim from publications like *Pitchfork* and *NME*, praised for its vulnerability and sonic depth.

Prior to her solo work, WET’s track “Dreams” surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. Fritz continues to tour extensively, both as a solo artist and occasionally reuniting with WET.
