Trey Daniels is an American drummer and multi-instrumentalist, prominently known for his work within the progressive bluegrass and jam band scenes. Rising to prominence as a founding member of the acclaimed band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Daniels has been instrumental in shaping their signature sound – a vibrant blend of bluegrass instrumentation with influences from rock, funk, and jazz.

Born and raised in Kentucky, Daniels’ musical journey began early, mastering drums alongside piano and banjo. He’s renowned for his incredibly dynamic drumming style, characterized by intricate rhythms and powerful grooves. Beyond Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Daniels is a sought-after session musician and producer, lending his talents to artists across multiple genres.

Horseshoes & Hand Grenades have released five studio albums, consistently charting on Billboard's Bluegrass Albums chart, with *Titles* (2016) reaching #3. They’ve toured extensively throughout the US, performing at major festivals like MerleFest and RockyGrass. Daniels' contributions extend beyond performance; he actively participates in songwriting and arrangement within the band, solidifying his role as a key creative force. He currently resides in Nashville, TN continuing to perform and produce music.
