Tjasha Gafner is a Swiss-born, Berlin-based composer and sound artist recognized for her immersive and emotionally resonant electronic music. Initially trained classically in piano and cello, Gafner transitioned to electronic production, blending acoustic instrumentation with intricate sound design. Her work often explores themes of memory, nature, and the human condition, frequently utilizing field recordings alongside synthesized textures.

Gafner’s debut album, *Rückkopplungsschleife* (2018), released on LINE Imprint, garnered critical acclaim for its delicate balance between ambient soundscapes and subtle rhythmic elements. She further solidified her reputation with *Fragmentarium* (2021), also on LINE, which expanded on these themes with increased complexity and cinematic scope.

Beyond album releases, Gafner frequently composes for dance and theatre productions, collaborating with renowned choreographers like Alexandra Wächter. Her compositions have been featured in installations at institutions like the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
