Timo Andres is a highly accomplished and versatile American composer and pianist who has made a significant impact on the contemporary classical music scene. With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Andres has established himself as a leading figure in his field, known for his innovative compositions and exceptional piano performances.

Born in Palo Alto, California in 1985, Timo Andres showed prodigious musical talent from an early age. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly became recognized for his technical prowess and expressive interpretations. After completing his undergraduate studies at Yale University, where he studied with renowned composer Ingram Marshall, Andres went on to earn his Master's degree from the prestigious Yale School of Music.

His compositions often feature intricate harmonies and rhythmic complexities that challenge traditional conventions while remaining accessible to a broad audience. As a performer, Timo Andres has collaborated with some of the world's finest musicians and ensembles. He frequently performs as both a soloist and chamber musician in major concert halls around the globe. Notably, he has worked closely with celebrated pianist Jonathan Biss on their project titled "Schubert/Beatles," which explores connections between Franz Schubert's music and The Beatles' iconic songs.
