Tim Lin is a Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer rapidly gaining recognition for his innovative blend of jazz harmony, electronic sound design, and neo-soul sensibilities. Initially trained classically in piano and saxophone, Lin transitioned to electronic music production while studying at McGill University.

He’s released music through prominent labels like Brainfeeder (Flying Lotus’ label) and Stones Throw Records, establishing himself within the forward-thinking beat scene. His debut album, *Metamorphosis*, released in 2023, received critical acclaim for its intricate arrangements and emotionally resonant melodies – lauded by publications like Pitchfork and Resident Advisor.

Lin’s style is characterized by lush textures created through sampling, layered synthesizers, and his own live instrumental performances.
