Thundercat, born as Stephen Lee Bruner, is a highly acclaimed American musician and producer known for his unique fusion of genres such as jazz, funk, soul, and electronic music. With his virtuosic bass playing skills and soulful vocals, Thundercat has carved a niche for himself in the contemporary music scene. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Thundercat grew up in a musical family. His father was a drummer for the legendary Motown group The Temptations, which exposed him to the world of music from an early age. In 2011, Thundercat gained widespread recognition with his debut solo album "The Golden Age of Apocalypse."
