Experience The Wild Hymns
The Wild Hymns are an American indie folk/Americana duo comprised of Drew and Brittany Allen, originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2014, they initially gained traction touring extensively as a full band before streamlining to their current core duo format. Their sound is characterized by intricate vocal harmonies, layered instrumentation featuring banjo, guitar, and mandolin, and emotionally resonant songwriting exploring themes of faith, doubt, and the complexities of relationships.
They’ve released three studio albums: *Wild Hymns* (2016), *The Boatman’s Daughter* (2018), and *Good Horses* (2022). *Good Horses* garnered significant critical acclaim, including features in *American Songwriter* and *The Bluegrass Situation*. The album also saw increased Spotify editorial playlisting and radio airplay on Americana stations.
Prior to their album releases, The Wild Hymns independently released several EPs and built a dedicated following through relentless touring alongside artists like Mandolin Orange (now Watchhouse) and Caamp. They are known for their captivating live performances and deeply personal lyrical content.
