Stefanos Tsialis is a Greek-born, London-based composer, sound artist, and performer whose work bridges contemporary classical music, electronic experimentation, and field recording. Trained classically in piano and composition at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) – where he earned the Charles K. Dore Prize – Tsialis’s output is characterized by a delicate balance between meticulously crafted scores and improvisational textures.

He frequently incorporates processed sounds from natural environments and urban landscapes into his compositions, exploring themes of memory, place, and the ephemeral nature of sound. Tsialis has received commissions from notable ensembles including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, and Ensemble Recherche.

His albums, released on labels like Room40 and LINE, have garnered critical acclaim for their immersive sonic landscapes and nuanced emotional depth. Notably, *Murmurations* (2018) was praised for its evocative use of field recordings alongside orchestral arrangements. He's also actively involved in collaborative projects and installations, extending his artistic practice beyond traditional concert settings.
