Ståle Storløkken is a Norwegian keyboardist, composer, and producer renowned for his expansive improvisational style and contributions to the Nordic jazz and electronic music scenes. Emerging in the 1990s, he quickly gained recognition as a member of the influential free-jazz trio Arve Henriksen Trio (later known as Arve Henriksen Quartet), alongside trumpeter Arve Henriksen and percussionist Jostein Friisnes.

Storløkken’s solo work demonstrates a unique blend of ambient textures, electronic soundscapes, and deeply melodic piano playing, often incorporating live looping and effects processing. He's released several critically acclaimed albums under his own name, including *Lucky Three* (2001) and *Hallucinations* (2016), showcasing his virtuosity and compositional depth.

Beyond solo endeavors, Storløkken has collaborated extensively with artists like Nils Petter Molvær, Susanna Wallumrød, and Motorpsycho, broadening his sonic palette.
