Somi, born Enitan Adepitan on May 20, 1988, is a celebrated Ethiopian-Kenyan-American singer-songwriter and producer known for her unique blend of jazz, soul, and African musical influences. Rising to prominence after winning the inaugural season of the South Korean reality show "K-pop Star" in 2012, Somi has since established herself as a dynamic artist with a distinct global sound. Her music seamlessly fuses rich African rhythms with contemporary jazz and R&B elements, creating a vibrant and soulful listening experience.

Somi’s debut album, *The Lagos Music Salon* (2019), received critical acclaim for its innovative storytelling and cultural depth, showcasing collaborations with renowned artists such as Common and Seun Kuti.
