Simon Popp is a German electronic music producer and DJ, gaining prominence for his melodic house and techno sound. Initially rising through the ranks with releases on labels like Stey You Mad and Rosewood, Popp quickly established a signature style characterized by emotive melodies, driving basslines, and atmospheric textures. He’s known for incorporating live instrumentation – particularly piano – into his productions, lending a unique organic quality to his electronic compositions.

A key turning point came with his 2019 EP “The Imaginary Club” on This Never Happened, catching the attention of Lane 8 who subsequently signed him to the label. Since then, he's released numerous EPs and singles on This Never Happened, including highly acclaimed tracks like "Sunbeams" and "Orpheus."

Popp frequently tours internationally, performing at prominent festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Lost Lands, often alongside Lane 8.
