Simon Blendis is a British composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his work across diverse musical genres, primarily jazz, funk, soul, and electronic music. Initially gaining recognition as a keyboardist and programmer with the acid jazz collective The Brand New Heavies from 1992-1996, contributing significantly to albums like *Heavy Rhyme* and *For the People*, Blendis established himself as a vital creative force.

He subsequently embarked on a prolific solo career, releasing albums such as *Blendis* (2002) and *At The Microphone* (2011), showcasing his songwriting and vocal talents alongside instrumental prowess. His compositions frequently feature intricate arrangements, sophisticated harmonies, and a distinctive blend of live instrumentation and electronic production.

Blendis has collaborated with numerous artists including Incognito, Omar Lye-Fook MBE, and Jocelyn Brown.
