Experience Scottie Miller
Scottie Miller is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, gaining prominence initially as the frontman for the indie-pop band, Young the Giant. Born in Irvine, California, Miller founded the band (originally The Jakes) with fellow high school classmates in 2004. Young the Giant achieved mainstream success with their 2011 single "Cough Syrup," which reached platinum certification by the RIAA and continues to be a staple on alternative radio.
Beyond vocals, Miller plays guitar, piano, and ukulele, contributing significantly to the band's songwriting process. Young the Giant has released five studio albums – *Young the Giant* (2007), *Homesick* (2010), *Mind Over Matter* (2014), *Beautiful Blue* (2016), and *Summer Eyes* (2019) – all charting on the Billboard 200.
In 2023, Miller embarked on a solo career releasing his debut EP “Coulda Woulda Shoulda”. His solo work explores a more introspective sound while retaining melodic sensibilities familiar from his work with Young the Giant.
