Sarah Tandy is a British jazz pianist and composer rapidly gaining recognition for her distinctive harmonic language and emotive playing. Emerging from the vibrant London jazz scene, she completed her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2018. Tandy’s musical foundation lies deeply in jazz traditions, but she seamlessly integrates elements of soul, hip-hop, and electronic music into her compositions.

She is a member of several acclaimed ensembles including Nérija, a predominantly female septet nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2019, and operates as a sideman with artists like Moses Boyd and Nubya Garcia. In 2023, Tandy released her debut album *Zine* on Gondwana Records to widespread critical acclaim, praised for its introspective songwriting and sophisticated arrangements. *Zine* explored themes of identity and memory through a blend of acoustic instrumentation and subtle electronic textures.

Tandy's work has been featured on BBC Radio 3’s *Jazz Now* and received support from publications like The Guardian and Jazzwise. She continues to tour internationally, establishing herself as a significant voice in contemporary UK jazz.
