Sarah McKenzie is an Australian jazz vocalist and pianist rapidly gaining international recognition. Born in 1985, she initially gained prominence winning the prestigious Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2009 – the first Australian to do so. McKenzie’s style blends classic jazz vocal traditions with a distinctly contemporary sensibility, often incorporating bossa nova and French chanson influences.

She's released seven studio albums, beginning with *Don't Tempt Me* (2010) and most recently *Cloudland* (2023), all receiving critical acclaim for her impeccable phrasing, warm tone, and sophisticated arrangements. Her repertoire frequently features both original compositions and interpretations of standards by artists like Cole Porter and Antônio Carlos Jobim.

McKenzie has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia, performing at renowned jazz festivals including North Sea Jazz Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival. She’s collaborated with notable musicians including Scott Hamilton and received multiple Australian Jazz Bell Awards nominations, winning Best Vocal Album in 2015 for *Secret Garden*.
