Samy Bishai is a Syrian-Swedish multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known for his emotionally resonant and genre-bending musical style. Born in Damascus, Syria, he relocated to Sweden as a child and began his musical journey learning classical piano before expanding into jazz guitar and electronic music production. Bishai’s work defies easy categorization, blending elements of ambient, electronica, neo-classical, and Middle Eastern influences.

He gained prominence through self-released albums like *Displacement* (2018) and *Euphoria* (2020), garnering critical acclaim for their atmospheric textures and poignant melodies. His compositions frequently feature intricate guitar work layered with subtle electronic soundscapes. Bishai's music has been featured in numerous independent films and documentaries, including the award-winning documentary *The Feeling of Being Watched*.

Beyond his solo work, he’s collaborated with artists across various disciplines, composing scores for dance performances and contributing to projects exploring themes of identity, displacement, and memory.
