Ryan Wang is a Chinese-Canadian pianist and composer rapidly gaining international recognition for his virtuosic technique and emotionally resonant performances. Born in 1996, Wang began piano studies at age five and quickly distinguished himself, winning numerous national and international competitions including the Canadian Chopin Competition (2013) and the Montreal International Piano Competition (2017).

He completed his studies at the Juilliard School under Yoheved Kaplinsky and Robert McDonald, graduating with the prestigious Artist Diploma in 2019. Wang’s repertoire spans from Bach to contemporary composers, but he's particularly known for his interpretations of Romantic-era works like Chopin and Rachmaninoff.

His debut album, *Chopin: Nocturnes* (2020), received critical acclaim for its lyrical sensitivity and technical brilliance, charting on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart. He frequently performs as a soloist with major orchestras worldwide, including the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Beyond performance, Wang is an active composer, exploring minimalist and neo-romantic styles in his original pieces. He is currently signed to Deutsche Grammophon.
