Rustem Hayroudinoff is a highly regarded Azerbaijani jazz pianist and composer, born in Baku in 1979. He gained prominence as a member of the influential Baku Jazz Trio alongside his father, Isfar Sarabski, and brother, Elchin Hayroudinoff – a group celebrated for blending traditional Azerbaijani *mugham* with contemporary jazz improvisation.

Hayroudinoff’s solo career showcases his virtuosity and compositional depth. He studied at the Baku Academy of Music and later at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, further refining his harmonic language. His style is characterized by intricate melodies, rhythmic complexity rooted in *mugham* scales, and a deeply emotive performance quality.
