Pygmalion is a French electronic music project led by composer and producer Raphael Marionneau. Emerging in the late 1990s, Pygmalion has become renowned for its intricate blend of ambient, minimal techno, and experimental electronic sounds. Marionneau’s work is characterized by meticulous sound design, subtle melodic progressions, and a refined use of rhythm that creates immersive auditory landscapes. Over the years, Pygmalion has released several critically acclaimed albums and EPs on respected labels such as Mille Plateaux and Raster-Noton, cementing his reputation within the avant-garde electronic music scene.
