PRIDO (born Prido Wilson, August 14, 1986) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Harvey, Illinois, now based in Los Angeles. Initially gaining prominence as a member of the Odd Future collective alongside artists like Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt in the early 2010s, PRIDO distinguished himself with a unique blend of melodic rap and introspective lyricism.

He transitioned to a solo career releasing several critically acclaimed mixtapes including *Mainframe* (2013) and *Almost Home* (2015), showcasing his versatility across genres – incorporating elements of R&B, electronic music, and alternative hip-hop. PRIDO’s production work has also been featured on tracks by Odd Future members and other artists.

Known for his atmospheric soundscapes and often melancholic themes exploring identity and personal struggles, he released his debut studio album *Summerhill* in 2017. He continues to release music independently and has cultivated a dedicated fanbase appreciating his consistently evolving artistic vision. His influence can be heard in a newer generation of alternative hip-hop artists prioritizing mood and sonic texture.
