Pierre Manetti is a French composer, arranger, and keyboardist renowned for his extensive work with French pop icon Johnny Hallyday. Born in 1952, Manetti began his career as a session musician in the 1970s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile and sought-after instrumentalist. He became a core member of Hallyday’s band in 1981, remaining his musical director for over two decades – a collaboration spanning numerous platinum albums and iconic live performances.

Manetti’s arrangements are characterized by a blend of rock, pop, and orchestral elements, often incorporating dramatic flourishes and powerful instrumentation. Beyond Hallyday, he’s collaborated with artists like Céline Dion, Michel Sardou, and Lara Fabian. He composed the music for several films including “Fanfan la Tulipe” (2003) and contributed significantly to the soundtrack of “Le Concert” (2009), a film recreating a legendary Hallyday concert.

He received the Victoires de la Musique award in 2016 for Album of the Year for his work on Johnny Hallyday's *Resilience*.
