Pavel Morochovic is a Ukrainian-born, Berlin-based composer and sound artist renowned for his immersive and often unsettling electronic music. Initially gaining recognition within the experimental noise and industrial scenes of Kyiv in the early 2010s, Morochovic’s work increasingly incorporates field recordings, manipulated acoustic instruments, and granular synthesis. He’s released on prominent labels including Soma Records, Raster-Noton (as part of the duo Voin Oruwu), and Editions Mego.

His style defies easy categorization, blending elements of dark ambient, techno, and contemporary classical composition. Recurring themes in his work explore the psychological impact of space, memory, and decay – often referencing Ukrainian history and the post-Soviet landscape.
