Experience Paul Huang
Paul Huang is a Taiwanese-American violinist rapidly gaining international recognition for his compelling performances and insightful interpretations. Trained at Juilliard under Itzhak Perlman, he began his career with a landmark debut recital at Carnegie Hall in 2014, following his First Prize win at the Yehudi Menuhin Competition.
Huang’s repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary works, but he’s particularly celebrated for his nuanced readings of Romantic-era composers like Tchaikovsky and Brahms. He frequently performs as a soloist with major orchestras worldwide, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and National Symphony Orchestra.
Beyond orchestral engagements, Huang is a dedicated chamber musician, collaborating with artists like Lang Lang and performing at prestigious festivals including Verbier and Salzburg. His discography includes critically acclaimed recordings of Paganini’s 24 Caprices (nominated for a Grammy Award) and a recent album featuring works by Sibelius and Wieniawski. He is also known for his active engagement with audiences through social media, aiming to make classical music accessible to broader communities. Huang currently plays the 1743 “ex-Conte de Fontana” Guarneri del Gesù violin on loan from the Stradivari Society.
