Paquito D’Rivera is a renowned Cuban-American saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer celebrated for his virtuosic fusion of jazz and Latin American musical traditions. Born in Havana in 1948, D’Rivera began his formal music education at the Havana Conservatory of Music before co-founding the influential Orquesta Cubana de Música Moderna.
