Paper Moon Trio is a Boston-based instrumental ensemble celebrated for their unique blend of gypsy jazz, swing, and classical influences. Formed in 2011 by violinist Colin Maier, guitarist Ari Erev, and bassist Jesse Williams, the trio quickly gained recognition for their virtuosic playing and dynamic live performances. They honed their skills busking on the streets of Harvard Square before expanding to regional and national touring.

Their style is characterized by rapid-fire improvisation, intricate arrangements, and a distinctly European café aesthetic reminiscent of Django Reinhardt. Paper Moon Trio has released three full-length albums: *Paper Moon* (2014), *Between the Lines* (2017), and *Ephemeral* (2020), all receiving positive critical acclaim from publications like Vintage Guitar Magazine and JazzTimes.
