Nicholas Carter rose to international fame as a member of the hugely successful pop group Backstreet Boys in 1993, contributing his distinctive tenor vocals and energetic stage presence. Throughout the Backstreet Boys’ initial run (1993-2002, and subsequent reunions from 2007 onward), the group sold over 130 million records worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
Alongside his work with the Backstreet Boys, Carter pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album *Now or Never* in 2002, which achieved gold certification. He continued with *I'm Dreaming On* (2006) and *Stay With Me* (2011), exploring a more mature pop/R&B sound.
