Nguyên Lê is a critically acclaimed and highly regarded musical artist known for his innovative fusion of jazz, rock, and world music. Born in Paris, France in 1959 to Vietnamese parents, Lê's unique background greatly influenced his musical style and career.

Lê began his musical journey at a young age, learning to play the guitar and immersing himself in various genres such as rock, blues, and jazz. He later studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he further honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of music theory.

Throughout his career, Nguyên Lê has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians from around the world. He has worked with artists such as Ornette Coleman, Carla Bley, Dhafer Youssef, and Trilok Gurtu, among others. These collaborations have allowed him to fuse different cultural influences into his music, creating a truly unique and eclectic sound.

Lê's discography is extensive and showcases his versatility as an artist. His albums often incorporate elements of traditional Vietnamese music, African rhythms, Indian classical music, and electronic textures. One of his most notable works is the album "Tales from Vietnam," which explores Vietnamese folk songs reimagined through a contemporary jazz lens.
