Mina Choi is a Korean-Canadian vocalist, composer, and arranger rapidly gaining recognition for her unique blend of jazz, classical, and Korean traditional music. Originally trained in classical piano and voice at the University of Toronto, Choi’s musical path diverged after immersing herself in the vibrant Toronto jazz scene. She leads the ensemble Mina Choi & The Space Program, known for their dynamic live performances and intricate arrangements.

Her debut album, *Raina* (2022), received critical acclaim, lauded for its innovative soundscapes and Choi's powerful vocal delivery – often switching seamlessly between English and Korean. *Raina* was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize in 2023, solidifying her position as a rising star in Canadian music.
