Michael Petruccelli is an American multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known primarily for his work within the progressive metal scene. He founded the instrumental progressive metal band Convergence in 2002, releasing three critically acclaimed albums – *On the Edge of Forever* (2008), *Defined* (2011), and *Provenance* (2013). His compositions are characterized by complex arrangements, technical proficiency, and a blend of melodic sensibility with heavier, djent-influenced riffs.

Beyond Convergence, Petruccelli is a highly sought-after session musician and mixing/mastering engineer. He’s collaborated with numerous artists across various genres, including Devin Townsend Project (touring keyboardist 2014-2016) and Animals as Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi (mixing/mastering). He's also involved in the band Octavia Labs.

Petruccelli’s playing showcases virtuosic guitar and keyboard skills alongside a strong understanding of music production. He independently operates Petruccelli Productions, offering mixing, mastering, and recording services.
