Meekz (real name Renzell Bell), a British rapper and musician from Birmingham, England, rose to prominence in 2021 with his viral hit “Rockabye” – a drill remix of Clean Bandit’s track. Initially gaining traction on TikTok, the song peaked at number 43 on the UK Singles Chart and propelled him into the mainstream.

Prior to “Rockabye,” Meekz built a local following through consistent freestyle releases and independent uploads, showcasing a raw, energetic delivery and lyrical focus often centered around street life and personal experiences. His style blends UK drill elements with melodic undertones, distinguishing him from purely aggressive drill artists.

Following his breakthrough, Meekz signed with Warner Records. He has since released several singles including "Pull Up," and collaborations with artists like Potter Payper and Blanco. His debut mixtape *Classified* (2022) further cemented his position in the UK rap scene, reaching the Top 40 of the UK Albums Chart. Known for his charismatic stage presence and rapidly growing fanbase, Meekz continues to release music and perform extensively across the UK, solidifying his status as a key figure in contemporary British rap.
