Matangi Quartet is a renowned Finnish string ensemble acclaimed for their innovative approach to classical and contemporary music. Comprising four talented musicians—Violinists Juho Korkeakunnas and Tuomas Niskanen, Violist Juho Korkeakunnas, and Cellist Joonas Järvinen—the group combines technical precision with expressive depth.

The Matangi Quartet's musical style seamlessly blends traditional classical techniques with modern influences, often collaborating with contemporary composers to premiere new works. Their dedication to versatility has led them to perform at major international festivals and concert halls across Europe, including the Helsinki Music Centre and the Musikverein in Vienna. They have also received numerous awards, such as the First Prize at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition in 2014.
