Marios Papadopoulos is a Cypriot-born, London-based pianist and composer celebrated for his emotionally resonant and technically brilliant performances. Trained at the Royal College of Music with Professor Dmitri Alexeev, Papadopoulos quickly established himself as a compelling interpreter of Romantic and 20th/21st-century repertoire. He’s particularly renowned for his deeply insightful readings of Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Prokofiev.

His debut album, *Rachmaninoff: Preludes*, released on Rubicon Classics in 2018, garnered critical acclaim – *Gramophone* magazine lauded it as “a remarkable debut,” praising his nuanced phrasing and powerful sound. Subsequent recordings include a highly regarded disc of Chopin Nocturnes (2020) and a recent release featuring works by Scriabin and Medtner (2023).

Papadopoulos regularly performs internationally, appearing at prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall, the Southbank Centre, and across Europe. Beyond performance, he's an active advocate for music education and frequently leads masterclasses.
